Authentic CC3D
« on: March 17, 2016, 08:26:33 pm »
Hello.  Very new to all of this. I bought a 250 kit and it came with an OpenPilot CC3D FC but I'm wondering about its authenticity because everything I've read so far indicates the CC3D FC should have a blue and green LED, however mine has a blue and Yellowish orange.  The blue blinks and so far only tells me when the quad is armed or disarmed (blue LED blinks appr 2 blinks/second when disarmed and armed 3-4 blinks/second), and the yellow/orange LED stays on. I have not yet connected the FC to my computer.  Another thing I've noticed is that is has a small 4 pin port mounted right beside the pins where the ESC's connect.  the port isn't labeled like the others.  It's in the OpenPilot case. The quad came with no manual or instructions.

thanks for any feedback.

Hi,

All Openpilot boards here in the market are clones.

Last official CC3D are maybe 3 or 4 years old.

Welcome,
Laurent

Edit: added order for reference :)
