CC3D Mess-up/Question, please help!

So,
This is my first racing quad purchased ready to fly with a cc3d. After plugging it into LibrePilot and updating the chip i realized my transmitter (ppm) couldn't communicate with the cc3d. So after trying every input method on the configure hardware screen, i eventually switched the usb telemetry off and moved telemetry from USB HID Port to USB VCP Port. Rebooted the chip and now cant get telemetry and I cant upgrade & erase.

If some one has done the same thing please help!! thank you so much

Unplug battery.  Unplug USB.  Go to Firmware page and press Rescue, then plug in USB, then after a few seconds, press Safe Boot.  That boots up in default settings.  Change what broke it.  Reboot normally.
