Battery voltage at fc Revolution
« on: October 27, 2020, 04:09:55 pm »
For me to have the battery voltage showing on the osd, can I have this information only with the battery plugged into the osd? or do i need a sensor or both resistors?
only the same voltage, without consumption
  FC is the revolution.
thank you.

You must have the full battery voltage fed to the sensor (or actually to the resistor network connected to the sensor), whether the sensor is in the FC or in the OSD.  The Revo does not have full voltage connected to it, so you will have to connect that somewhere, FC or OSD.

Generally, it can be set up either way; connected to OSD and displayed by OSD, or connected to FC, a message sent from FC to OSD, and displayed on OSD.

Sorry, I don't know enough about OSD or setting up multiple OSD voltages to answer your questions.

I can't find the resistors to make and I also can't find the voltage sensor for the FC Revolution, if anyone knows, please send the link.  thank you

wiki page for setup:

Here is a voltage / current sensor that I have used.  It has resistors built in.  You will have to make a cable.  It is only valid up to 90 amps.  I forget what the resistors are for the voltage divider (you should research this), but I know that it is safe to at least 3 cell lipo and probably much more.
