MAVLink telemetry with TBS Crossfire
« on: March 15, 2020, 06:24:23 pm »
Has anyone been able to get telemetry to work with the TBS Crossfire?  I was thinking that it could communicate via MAVLink, as the Crossfire receivers have this option on CH3 and CH4, but I can't seem to get any telemetry information back.  Thanks in advance.

I got MAVLink telemetry working!  The first 2 items are done via the Crossfire Lua.  The 3rd in the GCS.  And 4th is wiring.

  • Set the Rx CH3 and CH4 to MAVLink Rx and MAVLink Tx respectively
  • Set RC by MAVLink to On.
  • Set Receiver Port to MAVLink in the GCS.
  • Connect Rx CH3 to CH5 on the FC, and Rx CH4 to FC CH6.

Now, I'm not sure what data I can receive via MAVLink, and where to enable it.  Currently I'm receiving the board orientation, and that's about it.  I have an I2C airspeed sensor, so it would be awesome to get that data.  Any ideas?  Thanks.
