Upgrading from next to next one
« on: February 01, 2018, 04:40:54 pm »
Hello,

I need a clarification : when i come from a next version and i upgrade to the new next revision, GCS tells me some parameters have changed.

Is there something special to do ?

Thank you

Any time you upgrade, there is a big chance that something in the settings has changed.  The bigger the difference between versions, the more things change.

The official position is that you should erase settings and start over, but a user that knows all the setup pages in the GCS can make screen shots of the old pages and type the numbers into the new pages.

Do File->ExportUavSettings before you upgrade.  This is your old settings that you can look at later if needed.

The UAV settings file is a human readable text file that can be edited, you can copy numbers from the old UAV file to a new default UAV file.  This method should be considered a topic for experts...
