Is it possible that the signal wires are reversed? would the gps still work and the compass would not work right?

Wiring is correct, if you receive sats you receive mag as well.

There is clearly a issue with your Naza GPS hardware, the Z axis still locked at -4096 when Y and X axis change normally.
Maybe related to a defective mag sensor IC.



With this issue you cannot calibrate the Auxmag.

It is the best option, this GPS/Mag do not work correctly.
