cc3d board & ppm
« on: March 18, 2017, 10:27:53 pm »
hi ,
right now i have under(cc3d) receiver port-- ppm( + outputs+ no one shot) set up
i get all 8ch in LibrePilot from (flysky)tx however when connecting to the (cc3d)receiver port outputs 5-8.
i get no signal eg; can't trigger lost alarm or turn on the lights.. on ch5-8
TYPR all work as does  right yaw arming.
any ideas??
thanks

If you have accessory detected in input tab you need to do the mapping with output you want.
Like for a buzzer:
https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Add+a+buzzer+to+Multirotor+frame

You can find #7 to #10 output in receiver port:
https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/CC+Hardware+Configuration#CCHardwareConfiguration-ReceiverPort

For a multicopter you may choose the PPM_Pin8 as input and configure motor outputs as PWMSync at least.

all switches are mapped in the tx  and in LP
there is nothing from any outputs from the receiver ports

You will be able to see the input activity information while moving the switches

Redo transmitter wizard

well i still do not have any output at the receiver port.
all switches/channels  set to PPM show input when sticks& switches activated in LP
and  i did the wizard a few times
i have -- ppm( + outputs+ no one shot)  but do not get any kind of signal from
the receiver port wires 7-10.
 on ia6b rx  i'm using ch1 ppm and receiver port ch1 (3wires).

could it be the eachine250racer  cc3d clone or perhaps i have to go to
wires 1,2&8 for ppm? but don't know if newer er250's  can use oneshot?

Your quad should at least support PWMSync but there is issues with Escs used in eachine.
This need to use the FlexiPort as PPM input and receiver port dedicated to outputs.

Please post your config file with current working PPM input.

ok  it works as planed... finally

ER250 CC3D
FS-i6(10ch FW) ia6b rx
ppm(wires123) into ch1 on rx
ppm\outputs\no OneShot

4 accessory channels
ch5\SWA --accessory0 (unused for now)
ch6\SWC flight mode--accessory1
ch7\SWB--lights
ch8\SWD--alarm

thanks for all the info it was helpful
btw; the code is to big to post  unless attached  & the pictures say the same thing

one final question what does the "link" check box do??

The config file is not too big to be posted, that's only ~25Kb
File > Export UAV settings...

You should redo at least a manual calibration, i doubt all the min values are 1000 and max values 2000 exactly.
Same for neutrals you set at 1500

i did a paste code before thats why i got
a file too big message last time...

whats the big deal about being off by a +/- 4 points?

You should simply calibrate min/max/neutral according to the current input readings.
Your radio is not perfect, a small neutral offset can be usable in Attitude mode while the same offset can result in continuous rotation over one axis in Rate mode... not so good for control.

Your config file should works file and do the accessory <> output mapping as requested.
How do you test the outputs ? Eg. whats the min/max values needed for devices connected ?

Connect a servo and you can says if really works.

Currently only the output7 (pin5) and output8 (pin6) are available on Receiver port.
https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/CC+Hardware+Configuration#CCHardwareConfiguration-ReceiverPort

Output5 and output6 are mapped to normal output port.

no way to test but for what LP says  on screen.
i have used the alarm to test if i'm getting signal or with a meter
but its not as fun as noise!
outputs 7&8 are just switches for lights and alarm

i like to have the mid point ;in this case  motors start a bit up on the throttle
from zero  so a slight bump  doesn't start the motors right away
sorta like throttle play on your motorcycle

Output5 and output6 are mapped to normal output port.
output6 is flight mode 5 left open for arming ?  i currently use yaw right
but flipping a switch by accident happens would hate to disarm in flight!

yes ppm only has 8ch on a 6ch rx , right? the tx fs-i6 is hacked and has 10ch

heres a picture of the  wizard's raw settings for the input configs
so darn close to the rounded off numbers of 1000,1500,2000

1 position switch's are always going to be
0 or 100%(or really,really close) right?
and notice the 999 min are 1000 on the slider.

oh yeah a while back i think i adjusted the end points on the tx
channels ,perhaps thats why they are so close?
