CC3D and servos: Are you using an extra BEC?
« on: November 21, 2016, 09:00:50 am »
I'm a little bit off topic: I'm building a tri, not a heli. As tail-servo I'm using a 450-Class heli-servo on Motor/Servo 4, CC3D gets 5V on Motor/Servo 6-Connector from a 3A-continuos 5V BEC. I get some strange behaviour.

When you build a heli with four servos, do you connect all servos and servo-power directly through the CC3D or are you using extra BEC to power the servos direct via Servo-lead?

Yes. CC3D powers all 4 servos on my 250s. No BEC required.
Happy Landings!

Same for me - 4 sg90 servos on a HK450, 30A ESC with linear 2A BEC
