Hi, trying to do a manual calibration off my transmitter (DX6I) but I get a error msg. all the time :

There is something wrong with Throttle range. Please redo calibration and move ALL sticks, Throttle stick include

someone that have the same transmitter and perhaps have the throttle values ?

I also tried the "setup transmitter wizard" but had no luck with that one. It works ok the first 2,3 moments but then it just shows a moving stick and I move correspondent stick on my TR but nothing happens therefore I thought the 'manual' perhaps works.

any ideas ?

I have seen that before. I think I had to put low and high range numbers into my "System / ManualControl / Channel Max and Channel Min" and then used "Configuration / Input / Manual Calibration" again. If the max and min values are close together that will probably fix it.   

Post your UAV  file for us to scrutinize. You may want to download and modify someone else's UAV. I have done that several times. And note: satellites have different numbers than regular radios so try to get a UAV for sat. if you use a sat.

I have never completed TX wizard on my DX6i, DX7 or DX7s but the "Manual Calibration" works.

Just started looking at your UAV file. Those numbers for Channel Max Min and Neutral look a little different. compare them to someone's UAV.

When you do "Manual Calibration" be sure you have defaults loaded into TX throttle must go 0 to 100%. Pitch default--set for sport afterwards--no tail mix, no D/R or expo.

I have included a portion of my UAV and a portion of yours. Channel assignments? Mine are 1-5 yours are 5,2,3,4,6,1, Why?
I realize that my satellite numbers (171-853) are different from your RX numbers (1111-2000) but I have no zeros. You have zeros on 3 and 4, no? I have a zero on my "gear" channel?

My channels assignments (as per "Configuration / Vehicle / Basic settings") are engine=channel 5 tail=ch 4 servo W=ch 1 servo X=ch 2 servo Y=ch 3. 

Is yours looking for a throttle signal on another channel?

You can edit those numbers in "System". And then use "Configuration / Input / RC Input / Start Manual Calibration" with defaults set in your TX.

reason for the "channel numbering" I found some screen dumps in another thread that I copied.

I changed a couple off values (thanks for the 'hints') and a lot off "trial and error" and finally I managed to create a UAV-file that in the "system helht" indicates no errors (the file I attached) Movements (servos,swash etc) works fine as long as i use GCS (eg. 'test output') but i very poor when I disconnect and tries with the TR (DX6I) would appreciate if you could take a look at the file and hopefully point out what's wrong or is it maybe the TR that needs some special configuring.
I have done "a new model" and only set the swash-type singel 'servo 90' and check that all subtrims etc. are 0.

ps. forgot to mention that the 'motor'  is completely dead, works also when tested via 'output test' in GCS. Something with 'arming'
i think but I tried 'everything and cant make it work. Hopefully you have some god ideas for this as well

My DX7s reads "one servo normal" for swash type. Does a DX6i have that option?
Try changing the following:
Your numbers in "Actuator Settings" are strange. Mine have maximums at 2000 and minimums at 900-1000. Neutrals close to 1522.  For beginning setup I use 1750 maximums, 1522 neutrals and 1300 minimums so that I don't overtravel a servo. Remember that "SwashLeveling" can be destructive because servos travel fast.
In "ManualControlSettings" the throttle and collective should have neutral values only one or two numbers higher than minimums. The swash jumps if the neutral is higher.
Set arming to 'throttle off and ANYTHING'. Do Not Use "Always Armed" or "Always Disarmed". You can not save when armed!
Save the file that has servos moving. A few times I found that I could not move any servos and I had to go back to an older UAV file.

BTW I use a date system--1408Blackie.uav-- so that I can go back to yesterday easily. 1408 represents February 8th. Although it should be 0208Blackie because it is February 8th, except that I started last year and didn't want 0208Blackie (last year) to be confused with 1408Blackie (this year).

A lot of "trial & error" a couple of servos and agony I finally managed to make a config that seams relatively ok, at least it seams to work ok when i try it out in GCS. Everything 'moves' ok, motor spins etc. The strange thing is when i switch over to my transmitter (DXi6) the movements becomes very 'tiny' hardly moves at all (the movements are in proper direction) and no way I can get the motor to spin. any ideas is must appreciated.There is something I have missed or what.

I see that you have rates set at 220 in manual mode. It will take over 1.5 seconds to flip at that rate. I use 540 manual rate for all three axes. And if you change rates to 540 you will see much more servo movements. If one and a half flips every second (540 degrees) is too fast then use your D/R in your TX to make it manageable.

I see also that you have two flight modes configured. Try to get 4 or 6 flight modes out of your TX to enable you to make mid-air comparisons (Google that). Or land to switch modes like I do until the heli becomes stable enough for me to risk flipping a switch while flying. You can do comparisons with only 2 flight modes but experimenting will go faster if you have at least 3 modes available to you.

As for motor spinning: I use my TH switch to get "throttle off" because my throttle channel apparently does not go low enough. In other words I cannot arm with throttle stick only. I could map the throttle low enough to arm but I like it the way it is. To test arming: connect your board to your GCS, turn your TX on, and connect your flight battery to try to arm, A loud Australian lady says "ARMED" if you do that right.

Changed the manual rate to 540 as you suggested but that has no effect at all. Thanks for your effort trying to help me out but maybe I have to realise that CC3d/GCS are to complicated for me.I thought that if I just had a config-file that work for someone else, I could copy/alter the explicit settings for my transmitter etc. But it seams that I am sole using hk450, DXi6,orange receiver so I will try out another solution and maybe fly the copter one day.

Maybe I get me a "quad" and try the CC3d on that, I believe its much easier to configure those (relay working wizards etc).
GCS are not "ready" for Helis yet it seams, at least not for me :)

Drat, missed this.  I use a DX7 and it does work.  I had the same prob getting it to arm and had to play with input and output settings.
