Help With Rise RXD250
« on: December 03, 2017, 03:41:07 am »
I just bought and setup my Rise RXD250 quad. It has a CC3d controller.....my very first attempt to take off it flips backwards and broke two propellers. Using the Vehicle Setup in Libre Pilot when doing the output test, motor 1 and 3 are reversed. They are spinning in right direction but when testing motor 1, motor 3 spins and visa versa. How do I correct this?
I am using a FlySky i6 controller and FS-ia6b receiver.

Swap the ESC signal connectors (servo connectors) for ESCs #1 and #3.

I tried swapping around the plugs on the receiver. No luck. Motors 1 & 3 are still in the wrong spots.

You can swap motor outputs in Vehicle tab and test every motor position using the Output tab.
Number is motor output number.
NW (NorthWest), NE, SE and SW are motor position in frame and name is displayed in Output tab, like VTOLMotorNW.

If your wiring matches the Multiwii scheme the outputs will be in this order: 4, 2, 1, 3.

ok...very helpful. After I change the motors in vehicle and save it, I try and test it by going to Vehicle Setup Wizard and it changes them back when I want to do the output test. I want to test it before trying to fly it so it doesn't flip over and tear up another set of props. Also, I have Bank (Channels) 1(1-3) and 2(4)..............is that normal?

Yes, looks normal for a CC3D.
You should have the same setting for bank1 and bank2, something like PWM-490Hz to PWMSync or OneShot, according to Esc capability.
