dshot on a new built
« on: April 24, 2017, 02:11:32 am »
Hi, building a new quad, installed a set of DYS DSHOT ESC. During the ESC configuration in Libre Pilot, doesn't appear DSHOT is one of the option. Has anyone able to use the DSHOT with Revo? If yes, which selection did you choose?

thanks for your time.

DSHOT is not available in 16.09.  Will your ESCs work with another protocol?  PWM50 to 500, OneShot42 or 125, MultiShot?

Hi,

Currently the Dshot option is only available in a testing branch and will be merged to the 'next' branch soon.
https://bitbucket.org/librepilot/librepilot/pull-requests/410

This is a developer branch, feel free to test and report if works using the installer bellow :

Select the Dshot mode for banks used in Output tab, currently Dshot is not supported using the wizard.
Additionally you can change the frequency using the UAVOBrowser, search for DShotMode. (default 600)

I have no idea..  DYS site shows...  Supports DShot600, DShot300 only.

Why not test using the GCS installer link above ?

That's current Next + Dshot on it

I am using that currently..  other than unable to use the setup wizard as you stated, it works fine.  Thanks

I personally never use the wizard... although I started with openpilot before the wizard was a thing so..

with that said, everything the wizard does can be done through the configuration tabs.

You can even go through the wizard, skip the esc stuff, and just do that portion from the output tab in configuration. just a thought.
