 First of all I do not know whether to use the PWM, PPM or SBus to link the FC. I have attempted to use the SBus connection and nothing happens. After  research I understand that I need to change my UART setting to be a serial output for the RX I don't know how to do that in libre pilot. I  tried connecting the connectors up for PWM and it registered that something was happening but it wouldn't read the sticks as they were moving on the screen.  Finally I have a bound the X8R to the TX,  but I'm not sure that I have the transmitter properly configured. The directions that came with the transmitter are awful. Please help.

So After extensive research, I stumbled onto a thread where the guy had said the sbus did not work with the orange signal wire like it is supposed to. He said he plugged in the aqua blue'ish wire from the main four pin connect into the signal in on the X8R and it worked. I can verify this is true. Hope this is helpful to others.

There is no need to try one config or another for SBus.

SBus is only available in MainPort.

You should refers to the wire position, not colors.

was the blue wire on the outside of the connector or was it one spot in?

like this: (black, red, orange, blue)
or this: (black, red, blue, orange)

Whatever the wire color the only pin working for Sbus is the pin4 - MainPort. No black magic inside.

you got a point their haha. I just can't get my LR1000 to pick up any sbus activity so I was hoping for some magic haha.
