Dead Cat Quad Design
« on: November 18, 2015, 07:03:02 pm »
No I am not going to mount a dead cats body on a quad and fly  :)
However I do want to build the arm design.
Has anyone done so and how well did it go?
I am more so interested in what I should expect out of the gate.
I typically setup my CC3D's with the default PID's at the end of the wizard.
So I am curious as to how it might fly without going into setting up PID's
Thanks

LOL, I had to lok that up :)
Well, so it's a camera platform design, do I understand it right? From what I saw on Hobbyking it looks like an interesting design, but the Hobbyking design misses any kind of vibration dampening as far as I can see. I am currently building another camera platform, the Flying cinema Cinetank, so I look forward to see any progress on your design :)
