Quad rolls slightly when yawing.
« on: November 10, 2016, 07:14:46 am »
Hey guys so I performed an Autotune on my little 250 and it flies really good, still have to fine tune it, and acutally I am going to do it again because I rearranged the internals of it. Anyway, the thing will roll ever so slightly in the direction of the yaw movement. Is this a tunning problem? I do not see any oscillations while flying and it hovers extremely well. Just that one small issue. I do no have pirouette check either. Any ideas?

That can be caused by ESC miscalibration, motors not all exactly vertical, unequal weight distribution, motors or ESC's not matched, cracked frame that bends when power is applied, bad vibration issues ... I'm certain there are some I didn't think of.

Each of these can be fixed or compensated for.

So i ended up cracking one of my 3 bladed props which irritated me because i had just got through balancing them. so i bought 10 sets of gemfan glass filled 5x4.5x2 and the quad doesnt do it with those props. My little 250 flies awesome. I will have to post a video in the next couple of days
