stabilization basic config - attitude
« on: April 12, 2016, 06:43:51 am »
In attitude mode, using basic configurations on the stabilization tab, the attitude slider controls the max bank angle.  Does the rate slider control the rate of change, or does that only work in rate mode when in basic configuration?

On the page - https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Attitude+Setup it appears that the rate slider while in basic only affects rate mode.  Do I need to switch to advanced configuration to be able to adjust the rate of attitude mode?

Thanks

The slides attitude and rate with moderate, snappy and insane above are how responsive each mode would be e.g attitude slider to 90degs would mean Max angle of 90 degs at full stick, rate slider set to 360 mean that at full stick input it will rotate 360 every second,

Changes on the basic tab also change the same settings in advance tab.

The max bank angle slider only affects attitude and rate trainer mode, the roll and pitch rate sliders affect both attitude and rate mode.

It means, when you increase thos values, your quad will always pitch or roll quicker. In attitude there is another setting you should take a look at, which is the so called outer loop.

There is a wiki article about this: https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Attitude+Setup
