I have tested a flight controller called Falcon F4 for some time and it has worked great. Up until now it has been mostly bench-testing while developing firmware and GCS in LibrePilot. I will use it in some flight testing as well now when the weather here in Sweden starts to get more humane and predictable

The hardware is compatible with OpenPilot Nano board but got the same form-factor as the normal sized boards.
Its not as cheap to buy as the Nano but it seems to be high quality.

Our Falcon F4 flight controller is now shipping.  It is an STM32F4 based board with an MPU-9250 and MS5611 Baro.  It emulates a Revo Nano, but is a standard size 36x36mm, and has been tested with Libre Pilot.

I also tested the Falcon in a beta Version and it does a really good Job!
The Sensor noise floor ist really low and overall it seems to be nice and well done.
Unfortunatly I made a mistake and killed it during the basic flight tests...

This does look like a good alternate to OP hardware... I Assume the OP v8 and v9 GPS will work with this just fine?

Is there any reason why it is only the enlarged Version available?
I would like the small version for usage in micro helicopters.
