GPS with compass a problem? ideas needed

GPS with compass  Ublox M8n
FC board Revolution.
Flies good with basic attitude algorithm setting.
No alarms and GPS looks good 17 satellites (with lock).
When I set attitude to GPS navigation (INS13) the ATI and STAB turn red (“waiting for good data from magnetometer or GPS lock”).
I feel like I have tried everything to make this work.

I bought the Revo board, the GPS and the OPlink as a set from (http://www.amazon.com/QWinOut-OpenPiolot-Revolution-Controller-Transceiver/dp/B0179N9WPE?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00)

So GPS looks Ok, what about Magnetometer ?
Some other alarms when you look at SystemHealth ?

Thanks for the interest in my problem.
Magnetometer looks good.
I tried to attach some photos, but not sure how this works. Preview does not show them.
There are no alarms until  I set attitude to GPS navigation (INS13).
photo attachment 1 before INS13
photo attachment 2 INS13 choice
photo attachment 3 after INS13

Ok, so maybe it is the magnetometer. I did not think brown was an error. The compass does read well and true, but according to the color (brown) it is not being used. I have a bad unit?

I'll remove the GPS unit and see if the magnetometer comes up green.

I removed the GPS and recalibrated the board, the compass reads correctly. The color is still brown (MAG) in the alarm panel.

Try some readings in Wiki pages:
https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Advanced+features

If MAG black, the mag is not used.

Post your config file: File > export UAV settings

My battery is too low to continue, I brought my unit into work with me, so only one battery. When I can I'll redo the vehicle and transmitter setup with fresh calibrations.   The message saying that the magnetometer was not being used is in reference to my flight modes not needing it?  The FC was using it, or at least the telemetry was using it because the flight data showed correct readings.  In all the images I can find on the internet, none show the MAG alarm being green. Yours does go green?  Anyhow thanks for your inputs and the links you provided.

Sure, you cannot use Mag if not green :)
Green mean enabled and without alarm

Post your config file: File > export UAV settings
No need battery but USB connected

Go to System tab > UAVOBrowser

search for RevoSettings > FusionAlgorithm adn set value to INS13Indoor.
Save, HDD icon with red arrow.

Now you can test Mag without GPS need and only USB power.

Fusion Algorithm  set value to INS13Indoor and rebooted the system, rebooted, done.
There was no action in the flight data window, no pitch no yaw, no compass. So I did the vehicle setup and calibrations. Still no  no pitch no yaw, no compass action. And the MAG alarm is BLack.
Sensor alarm is green. If I set the  Fusion Algorithm back to basic the flight data window looks good, action in all axis.

Another issue.... sometimes after calibration the level is off and the compass is off by 90 degrees. Other times everything is right on the mark.

So, back to the original problem, it looks like it is the MAG alarm and I need to get it green.
I find that it works, but it says it is not being used, hard to understand.
