Tau Labs MSP support

Have there been any discussions about porting MSP support from TauLabs/dRonin?  The only reason I ask is I am working on adding an OSD to my FPV rig and IMHO the MWOSD firmware is far better than MinimOSD's.  Great hardware though :)
