To me also looks good. Give it a try.
At least you have cables connected to I2C bus (SCL, SDA) for the Magnetometer :) and it's Ublox M8N.
If you order a mast for it, pay attention if the mast has at least two screws mounting it to the frame and sufficient length. Mast must not rotate, otherwise it will invalidate your calibration.

I dont understand.
The M8N has a 6-pin connection, GND VCC RX TX SDA SDL.
RX and TX for serial and SDA SDL for the I2C connection.

But the Flex and Mainport at the CC3D has only 4 pins, so cannot connect the M8N.

You will need both, FlexiPort for I2C (Mag) and MainPort for Uart (gps).

Like Markus says https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/GPS+setup
Please also note that coming release (current development branch) also includes support for DJI compatible GPS units, which have GPS+Mag working on just one serial which uses only one port.

I have got a UBlox Neo 6M, without MAG, only serial RX TX, but it will nor run my RevoBoard, with the same settings as the OPMini GPS.
OPMini runs very well, but a little bit slowly. So i look for a better GPS.

I dont know why the NEO 6M will not work?

I dont know why the NEO 6M will not work?

6 - See only GPS satelites
7 - See GPS or GLONASS (not both at the same time)
8 - See GPS and GLONASS + other systems. For example for M8 with flash memory there is firmware update which allows picking up european Galileo satelites.

Neo M is the perfect product line having only necessary parameters for navigation, but you don't pay more for unused features.

So Neo 6M will for sure work. Like other Neo 7M or Neo 8 M.

There are plenty of DJI compatible M8N based in ebay. The price range is 20..25 euros/dollars.
Has anyone tried those ? Are they any good ?

Regarding pole mount, I suppose metal ones are out of the question since they
would affect the already too picky mag. Am I right at this ?

Not sure, normally you calibrate your mag outdoors over oplink to correct for all elements that are part of the aircraft. But I can't tell for sure, as my own mast is made of glass fiber rode and plastic elements. Though other build had no mast at all.

About which DJI compatible GPS, I think some people mentioned those on the forum, but no clue how they work. I am using one with I2C cables or OP one.

The clone DJI compatible M8N gps units that we've tried work. In addition to a "real" DJI gps TheOtherCliff used one of the clones to check the code he wrote to support the DJI gps units.  I have one as well.

The support for the DJI gps units is not in the current released LP, it's in the next branch and will be in the next release.  If you want to use it before then you'll have to compile the next branch yourself.

All of the metal mounts that I have seen are aluminum. Non ferrous metals are Ok.
