Hi all

Looking for some help with connecting my CC3D board

I have two desktop machines one running Windows 8.1 and the other Windows 10, with bot of them when I connect my CC3D board running LibrePilot or Open Pilot the Board is shown but looking at the signal strength bar at the bottom of the screen I only get one bar shown and the software times out every time I try to do anything.

Anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening.

I also have a very old LapTop running windows XP and for some reason the CC3D connects and works fine on that, but that machine is so slow to use which is why I need to get it working on my Desktop machines.

I followed those instructions to the letter but unfortunately it made no difference.

Any other thoughts

Maybe you miss something.

I did it a couple of times just to make sure

Attached are a couple of screen captures showing Device manager before and after CC3D connection as shown in the guide

The first 2 composite USB devices shown before CC3D connection have the following locations

Port_#0004.Hub_#0007

Port_#0001.Hub_#0007

Then the one that popped up when the CC3D was connected has the following location

Port_#0014.Hub_#0003

That was the one I un installed the drivers for and was the same after a new devices scan re installed the driver.

So I am sure I did it correctly, unless you can see were I went wrong.

Hi

Just tried again and added a reboot between steps 8 & 9 and now its all working well

My CC3D board is now recognised in both OpenPilot & librePilot
