Hi, guys
If, theoretically, I have 2 devices, on Tx side OPLM and quad side is also OPLM sucessfully binded, is there any way to get RSSI info on Rx side OPLM ?

So, I have Turnigy 9x with OpenTX connected via PPM channel binded with Sparky 2.0 on quad and all works as a charm
Recently, I got BetFlight F3 and I have another OPLM. I did not join them yet, but I guess they will work (BetaFlight has PPM port on Rx side). Only problem is RSSI info.

Any thougths?

If you are flying BetaFlight firmware you will probably need to ask on a BetaFlight forum for an exact answer.

Or are you just trying to find out whether the OpLink (running OP/LP firmware) can output RSSI as part of PPM stream (or on PWM)?

Thanks for the answer, Cliff. Yes, that second. Is RSSI part of PPM stream by the box in LP fw? (I'm running LP fw 16.09 on both OPLMs).

There currently is no "standard" telemetry (RSSI, etc) output from the OPLink.  I'm currently working on creating an entirely digital link between the OPLink and OpenTx by adding support for multiprotocol.  I have the control link (PPM replacement) working, and now have to add the telemetry.  I only have a Taranis, but I believe it should work on a 9X as well running OpenTx.

Currently the PPMout stream from remote Oplink do not send Rssi.

So, you're not trying to get the RSSI back to your Tx, you just want it to get to the FC to be shown on an OSD?  If so, that would be easier if it just means outputting it on a channel of the PPM stream, but it is not currently supported.

Unfortunatelly, TGY 9x has no option, even with OpenTX, for dedicated RSSI AUX channel, like Taranis does
Brian, no, I don't need RSSI info on my Tx. I'm flyng FPV and that small LCD with lot of info on Tx is useless for me. I just want signal quality to be shown on OSD.

Do we have an option to put RSSI on PWM coming from OpLink?  Then it might be simple to get it into the OSD.  Maybe PWM.  Maybe use an RC network and connect it to an analog input on the OSD.

You can try the firmware attached, compatible with 16.09 release.
You just need to flash this firmware into the remote Oplink :
- Hit rescue button
- Connect remote Oplink
- Open button and load the the firmware you downloaded
- Flash

Please note the PPM (out) must be set to the FlexiPort, MainPort do not work.
Rssi channel output is channel 9
