Hi,
I'll explain my situation:
I have 2 Revo with built-in OPlink modules. I also have a normal OPlink module which I received yesterday.
After updating its firmware, I connected it successfully with a Revo, without any kind of problem. It worked really well. I disconnected it and some hours after, I connected them again (without any change). But I couldn't get the connection as before: Before, I connected the OPlink module to my computer and the Revo to an external power source, and I was retrieving the telemetry data from the FC.
But then, if I connected the OPlink to the computer, in the OPlink panel there wasn't a connection. I tried connecting the Revo to my computer and the OPlink to the external power source. And the revo was saying that it was connected. (So just the Revo said it was a connection, the OPlink didn't).
Some minutes after, neither the Revo nor the OPlink said it was a connection anymore. I've tried lots of different configurations of power, baudrate, etc and I have updated&reset both firmwares several times. I'm also sure I didn't connected any device without its antenna.
I also experienced a really strange behaviour: Only with the Revo connected to the computer (and the OPlink to an external source), if I put the OPlink's module's antenna to a very particular position over the Revo's USB wire, the Revo said it was a connection for less than a second, then that it wasn't any connection, then that was a connection again, and over and over. If I moved the OPlink's antenna away from the USB cable, this behaviour stops. I don't have any idea of what this can be. I can upload a video of this behaviour if needed.
I attach the screenshot of the Revo and the OPlink module.
I also tried to connect the two Revos between them. And it worked perfectly. I configured one of them as coordinator and the other as receiver and both connected perfectly. So I guess that the problem comes from the OPlink module.
Now my questions are:
- Do you know what the problem with the OPlink module can be? Do you explain the previous strange behaviour?
- Could I use one of the Revos as the OPlink module? When I connect the coordinator Revo to the computer, it says its connected but the telemetry data comes from itself, instead of the other Revo. It could be great if I can use this one to replace the OPlink module
Thanks! I'm desperate
