You have to be more specific when asking for help, I am not sure what you mean by "all reseting".
Always try to ask, assuming that someone knows nothing about your problem
What I did with my copter, I exported UAV from old GCS 16.09RC2, I installed new 16.09 GCS and flashed with full erase my FC firmware. Then I imported
previously saved file. All works for me. If nothing changed in UAVs which is likely between RC2 and released 16.09 you could probably just flash new firmware and start using new GCS without even doing what I described above. But nevertheless it's always good to export (using GCS version that works with it) and keep a file with working configuration. I have multiple files named like FrameSize-FlightController-LPVersion-Date save in directory for all of my copters.
