USB DRIVER

I have down loaded Librepilot. It says it downloaded and installed the usb driver, but every time I connect my pc says that the device is not recognised. I am unable to connect to the quad.
I have been to the following - https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Troubleshooting - and followed the instructions, but when I plug in the quad nothing happens. what am I doing wrong? Help.

 Have you tried a different USB cable? I know I have a few that do not work correctly with CC3D or Revo boards.
