RED input says there is nothing configured.

For debug, you can monitor the receiver activity and see if something appears while you move the sticks.

Go to System tab and search for Data > ReceiverActivity.

I went here and it reads
Receiver Activity - Active Group - none
Active Channel reads 225
Receiver status reads 100 %
So how do I change that?
I tried on that page it goes right back.
The HW settings receiver port reads PWM + no one shot.

Did you save? It's a red arrow in a box at the top. Instead of at the bottom right corner
5" alien 4s 596grams with battery and GoPro FPV
Lantian LT210 4s 604grams with batt and GoPro FPV
GE X220 4s 6" 513grams with batt and HD cam FPV
Homemade acro X copter. 6" 4s - like a warpquad LOS

Yes, I saved. It now saves PWM  and receiver stat 100% but when I go to the transmitter wizard and try to go through no good. Then go back and input is red and the receiver stat quality then goes to zero receiver ativity does read PWM all the time. I have tried two units now.

It's a status, you can't save it.  It's like trying to save the reading on your car speedometer.  :)

It was meant for you to look at it and move the sticks, the readings should change as you move them.  If they don't then you need to troubleshoot further.

Troubleshooting starts at the beginning, verify that the transmitter is talking to the receiver.  Take the props off and connect one of the ESCs to the receiver.  Verify that one of the sticks controls the speed of the motor properly. While you're at it you might as well verify all four sticks since it only takes a couple of seconds to move the cable.

If that works, next would be to verify how the receiver is wired to the cc3d.  How is it wired?

Running AR8000 and it looks like it will not work unless a satellite is connect. I need to pick one up and i'm using the stat on a heli right now. I hope this takes care if it.
