Summary: DJI was blacklisted by US govt for alleged Uyghur ethnic abuse / genocide by the Chinese govt.  It does not appear that this will cause any issues with buying, maintaining, or flying DJI drones.

This does not appear to be related to DJI previously being accused of accessing US customer drone videos where the US customers had recorded videos of sensitive areas in the US that should not have been recorded.  Instead there are hints that this latest ban is because of DJI's alleged involvement in the surveillance of the Uyghur peoples.
