Hello,

I am trying to upgrade my DYS-250 to 16.09 using the GCS vehicle setup wizard. It works fine with 15.09. With 16.09, at the ESC calibration step I am not getting the calibration beeps. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi, welcome.

Please note if you have a calibration issue, the calibration step is not needed every time you run the vehicle wizard and can be skipped.

There is some cheap escs not running correctly using PWMsync + 16.09 with init/beep issues at power up..
You have two options:
- still using 15.09 and PWMSync
- change the Output configuration to PWM-490Hz while running 16.09

Hi f5soh,

Thank you for your reply. I was using PWM-490.  I just tried skipping the calibration step, but after completion the CW and CCW motors first start to turn at vastly differing throttle levels, so it appears the calibration was wiped. I think I will stay with 15.09

You can calibrate Esc manually as well.

I had tried manual calibration but it did not appear to work. Tried again this morning and it worked this time. Thanks for your help!
