I flew DJ250 and Amarillo in some wind today. The outer loops are better now. I don't know how many packs I used because I kept 2 chargers busy for 5 hours.

Both fly well but are finished yet. They are up to Microbeast standards but not the previous OP kind of flying yet. They are close.

I have not finished with tuning PIDs on any of the 3 250s. DJ's 250 is getting much better with the UAV posted here. It flew in some wind a couple of days ago. The tail is not right yet but Pitch and Roll are pretty good. I use "Rate" for Pitch and Roll and "Axis Lock" for "Yaw".

I hope to find a relationship between the Open Pilot PIDs and Libre Pilot's PIDs. When I am happy with the way all three fly then perhaps I will see a simple linear correspondence between LP PIDs and OP PIDs.

This HK250GT helicopter with an Atom flies really well. It has a tail that is mechanically very ,very sloppy but it holds perfectly. I add Tail Mix on my TX (-24%) at full thrust and it holds really well on extreme pitch pumps. I fly in Rate, Rate, AxisLock and will experiment with other flight modes soon. There is a large mechanical change since it was tuned in OP. Putting the linkage balls into the inner most of the three positions on a Tarot head required new PIDs. Tail servo is still a Turnigy S308G-HV--Cyclics-HS65MG. 

When the weather improves I will get another video.

The tail on Blackie, an HK250GT originally, is solid now. I ran 3 or 4 battery packs working on it yesterday. It held well in 10-15 mph wind gusts. I will test in stronger wind when I get the chance.
The tail mechanism is extremely loose. An Inolabs D202HB servo moves a regular metal pushrod for a stock HK tail-- with Chinese weights and double bearings-- and 37mm Trex tail blades. 

Further note re Yaw:
"P" change from .00266 to .0265 or .00267 made a difference. Likewise an "I" change from  0.00139 to 0.00140 or 0.00138 flew sloppier. I didn't get happy about this one until I had 3-place accuracy!

I noticed once I started adjusting outer loop that anything higher than 3.5 got wiggly. I am still working on the outer loops.

Tarot 450 Pro FBL, 6 flight modes to use all the three banks with Attitude and AxisLock settings. Thought for Dx6i.
The heli holds quite well in the wind, managed to do some flips with no issues, tail holds well, but could oscillate a bit with highest RPM. It's still WIP, but it flies really good. Pitch range is limited, to get +/- 12° of collective on my setup.
Attitude holds the heli still in the air, with a slight angle, to compensate tail's lateral force. It's quite aggressive at stabilization, so better to not be used for too fast flights.

Is the swash really level? 
 Top? , middle? and , bottom? with these numbers from your UAV? :

And I found that accuracy to 3 significant figures was noticeable. I couldn't use .0022 as well as perhaps: 0.00222 or 0.00223. A change to that last decimal place makes a difference.

Yes it is, as accurately as I can misure without a swashplate leveler. The setup on the heli is pretty much perfect, now I'm just tuning PIDs, as I think that's the only thing which can be improved, well, apart from getting better hardware.

The smallest size Heli I have seen here is 250 size.
If you look for some of the previous posts you will find several of daveapplemotors UAV files from his HK250GT

Could be a good start, but for sure you need to review and adjust settings.
