CC3D & LibrePilot, first booth, Memory Criticly Low.
« on: March 01, 2016, 10:52:38 pm »
Hi

Me and my brother ordered 2 E-turbine with CC3D flight controller.

I built my Quad and went trough the setup wizard on LibrePilot GCS with no problems. My Quad is up and flying, everything is fine.

When I was helping my brother this evening there was a problem.
After I hade gone trough the setup wizard I thought that all was set to go but in the Flight Data Tab the MEM warning was red. "Memory: Critical"

I havent found a solution on the web so im hoping to get som help here.

Why am my brother getting this warning/problem when I did not?

How do I fix it?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi,

Looks strange.
Can you post the brother's config file ?

File > Export UAV settings

Welcome,
Laurent

Tanks for the reply.

Here is the file that he has exported from GCS. He said that the Quad was not connected when he exported the file but I guess that this is the last save to the CC3D.

Hope you can see something wrong and fixable in this file. =)

Tanks again.

Without the quad connected i just get a file with all default settings for all fields.

This doesn't help.... :)

There is nothing wrong with this config file.
Just change some output settings if you want good motor refresh rate (set to PWM - 490Hz)

When the alarm is here, check the memory left value inside PFD > System (left) panel

Hmmm...
I Will have to check that then.
PFD=??? FlightData tab??

OffTopic: I also did chose standard ESC since I did not know what type of ESC we had. So we should change it to the faster option? Can we do that without reCalibrating the ESC? Probably not.

you should choose RapidEsc, not sure about calibration... uses 1900 or 2000 for max can't remember.

Well.

I Hooked up my Quad and I had 1.39kB free. (I have the TxPID module enabled)

I Hooked up my brothers Quad to my computer, he had 1.74kB free, no warnings what so ever (of cause).

The only difference is the computer that we hooked it up to. Mine is a Mac and he got a PC.

We will have to check if we can find the "bug" which it seems to be. Otherwise we will set it up on my computer and go fly. =)

Thanx for you help.
