LP map window not behaving properly
« on: January 04, 2019, 08:09:48 am »
I refer to the thread with the same heading in July 2018. I have similar problem. And I have tried all the methods mentioned in the thread, but still made no difference.

First, there is no such Environment Variable as GCS_GOOGLE_SAT_VERSION in my laptop running Win7, neither in System tab or Device Manager.

Second, I deleted the qmdb file in the mapscache under apmplanner2 in laptop.

The attached screen is the same before and after I deleted the qmdb file. There is only some outline of a faint map. My Revo board has satellites all locked, and Health meter is all green, meaning every system is normal. If I move the slider up, the map outline will disappear and the window becomes blank.
       GCS16.09
Appreciate any help.

Hi,

You need to create the new GCS_GOOGLE_SAT_VERSION environment variable by yourself, his value will be set to 821

Thank you for help.

It worked right away after I created the user variable in Environment.
