Arming problem
« on: January 17, 2018, 06:02:25 pm »
Hi, I have ZMR250 with Revo. After vehicle setup wizard I set arming with Pitch Forward and 0 for arming timout. Everything works fine, arming is successiful.
After I change stabilization (reduce responsivness) and attitude (increase accelerometer parameter) settings, quaad can't be armed by pitch stick and works only in "Always Armed".
All flight system tabs are green when trying to arm with pitch forward.
Config file attached.
Did anyone have such problems?

You cannot Arm while a flightmode uses a AltitudeHold.
In two flightmodes you configured there is a AltitudeHold and AltitudeVario.

I changed AltitudeHoid to AltitudeVario for both flight modes switch positions, but still no arming. Do you know any other tricks about arming to check?

You can arm in these modes. Altitude modes can only be engaged while you are in air already.

In fact it appears that arming is impossible when flight mode for thrust configured to other that manual.
So arming is possible in manual thrust and then it is possible to switch to any other mode AltitudeHold or AltitudeVario.

yes, that's the normal sequence for arming while using Altitude* modes
