8.2km with 100mW OPLINKs

Just uploaded short video of the current distance record with 100mW OpLink: 8199m. I hadn't plans for long range testing that flight, so the antenna on the TX was not the dipole but the quicker-to-install, although worse performing (at least 3dB worse compated to the classic dipole) RMILEC 433MHz SRC771:

VRX used Aomway 7 turn Helical on antenna tracker.

Very impressive! You're still running full telemetry at 57600bps?

I confirm, 57600bps and full telemetry. I suppose if the dipole is used as TX antenna, 10km without failsafe are easily achievable in this configuration. For longer distances I plan to use directional antenna on TX (Moxon type maybe). Also I have some ideas to play with modified OpLinks: RFM22B replaced with 1W RFM23BP and proper linear power supply for it.
