Having problem setting up Openpilot revolution board
« on: December 14, 2015, 12:25:53 am »
Hello, new to this forum. I'm hoping someone can help me. I have an F450 quad running an openpilot revolution board. I have a DX6i with a spektrum ar6200 receiver. I am trying to set up my revo to be able to utilize gps hold and RTB and just can't figure it out. I've followed all the instructions to the best of my ability. I don't have any red block on my flight screen, my problem seems to be arming. I just can't get it to arm....what am I missing?? is there any screenshots that show what should and should'nt be ticked? Please advise on any other info you may need to help solve my problem. Also, before I put my revo on, I was using a cc3d and everything worked just fine. Thank you in advance......

A few stings that need to be fixed:

Input tab: No flightMode input channel.
Add/set a flightmode switch in your RcRadio and restart the TxWizard.

Output tab: Update rate at 50Hz, too slow.
Set the refresh rate to at least 490Hz.

Attitude tab: Calibrate your Mag

Here is where you can see alarms:

Just wanted to give you an update.....I fixed what you had mentioned, plus a few other things.....We are in the air!!!  thank you for your help, I was ready to pull my hair out...haha....I do have one more question, how do I set a second toggle on my TX? I am able to set up 1 toggle, but I would like to set up another to utilize the RTB function. Again, my controller is a DX6i....thank you again....

Great :)

For switch settings you should want to use two switches and add some mixing rules for 4 flightmodes ?
I'm pretty sure you can find some youtube video for Dx6 config.
