Failsafe Settings - confusing!
« on: June 26, 2017, 09:23:03 am »
Failsafe Settings is not really very comprehensive.
Failsafe - is usually RC RX function and it's usually just sets the flight mode to RTH and that's it. In this case Failsafe Settings tab doesn't make any sense, as it completely unclear how is it supposed to work together with RX FS function.

If it's supposed to be triggered by no RX signal - I would suggest to add that to the wiki with an explanation that it can replace RX Failsafe function if RX got unplugged or RX FS state is adjusted for no signal output. Which is usually not the case with SBUS as it has some FS bit. I'm not sure about that, and I believe this topic needs more clarification. Thanks for any help.

Thank you for the link, there was the answer I wanted to see:

- the FC failsafe only takes over if the RC system stops sending pulses (or generally stops sending signal to the FC)

It would be nice to add this info to the Wiki.
And this is a great feature btw!
