I am quite new to this project.

I have 2 questions:

1. Is there any simulator provided in this project currently?

2. Is there any way to run the rover controller

on the simulator currently?

It will be great to test everything on the simulator first.

Yes.
I don't know.  I haven't tried. 

The wiki doesn't seem to have instructions.  Hopefully someone who knows more will come by.
