N00b Question

Hi everyone I am using a 2 blade prop at the moment but want to switch to a 3 blade prop do i have to change some settings on libre pilot? if so which ones also im useing a cc3d Atom if thats any help
all help appreciated  :)

Any time you change prop types, you should change PIDs, but you are probably using default PIDs and they should continue to work OK.

so i Dont have to configure it it librepilot to let it know i am now running 3 blade props?

Not really.  For most changes from 2 to 3 blade, it just sees that the prop is a bit bigger.  In a perfect world you would retune your PIDs.  Since you are using default PIDs and never tuned them in the first place, it should continue to fly OK.

You might research AutoTune in the wiki if you want the easiest way to tune PIDs.  But again, it is probably fine as it is.

The 3 blade probs need more "power" .. look on your ESC's and motors - both will be more hot. Normally i change the escs and motors in a "standard"-quad.
