Help with the transmitter wizard
« on: December 30, 2016, 06:22:10 pm »
I have a micro cc3d which I have used the vehicle setup wizard, and am now on the controller setup wizard, it all worked really really well until the yaw wanted to be channel 4 aswell as the pitch, however I have noticed that when moving the yaw 'stick' the channel two sometimes flickers in the green rectangle instead of channel 4. I am using the hk6s with the included reciever.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't wait to fly my quad

It sounds like your transmitter has a mix in it.   There does appear to be a switch on the front that might turn off a mix.

You could hook a motor (without a prop on it) or a servo to a channel on the receiver and move each stick and see if more than one stick affects the channel.  Transmitters sometimes mix channels for fixed wing airplanes without a flight controller.   With a flight controller you can't have mixing in the transmitter.

thanks so much, I had 6 servos(two which I had to salvage from a plane quickly) and two of the channels were on mix, which I have turned of now. You're a life saver:)
