Failsafe on CC3D - can not get it to work as described
« on: December 18, 2016, 10:40:35 am »
I use FlySky i6 TX. With its failsafe settings set to ON and after TX turn off input signals in LP configuration  do not depent on slider's positions set in LB failsafe tab for any channel. It looks like CC3D does not trigger failsafe.
Have tried to set TX throttle failsafe to OFF. No change.
When CC3D decides to trigger failsafe?

Thanks.

After you turn your Tx off, if the receiver still sending the last rc stick position the board cannot known there is a failsafe.
In this case you should setup the failsafe in your receiver.

The onboard failsafe works in case the receiver stop sending pulses or a wire is disconnected.

You can look at SystemHealth, if INPUT alarm goes Orange there is a board failsafe.

i just set up LP and failsafe on a fs-i6  and cc3d.
i didn't set it up on the tx and just did it in LP -100% ch1,5&6 or
throttle, accessory 0&1.
worked like a charm.
when i was young i had no childhood and had to wait until i grew up.
