Wiring Revo
« on: September 21, 2016, 08:08:44 pm »
Is it necessary that only one ESC with all the wires (+, - and Signal) be connected to Revo with the rest of the ESCs with only signal be connected to the FC?

All of my quads have all the wires on all the ESCs.

It is OK to do this if the BECs in your ESCs are linear, and they usually are.  Many ESCs even have multiple BEC chips running in parallel inside them, you are just doing the same externally when you leave all the red wires intact.

Thanks very kindly.

My S500 flew!!!!! Yes!!!

I was following the documentation for Revo and connecting only one ESC with all the wires and I was having issues flying (quad wobbling like a drunken soldier).

Going for a n actual flight in 15 minutes.  Will keep our great Librepilot community posted  (Also got my Naza GPS.  Will go to the other thread that was discussing my GPS challenges).

Once again.  Much obliged!!!
