Barometer graph
« on: September 07, 2016, 01:02:18 am »
I enclose the monitoring graph about 20 minutes of the barometer sensor . How do you judge the quality of the sensor ? The trend is sinusoidal . What is more important between the difference between two consecutive points and the difference between minimum and maximum of the sinusoidal wave ?
Thanks

Sinusoidal trend is the variation of atmospheric pressure - it is normal. Altitude fluctuation is on the level of 0.5 m. Normal barometer fluctuation is on the level of about 10 Pa (0.01 kPa). You recorded data in meters which is not raw barometer values and I could not correlate them.
You can read about barometers in this thread: https://forum.librepilot.org/index.php?topic=311.0

I have also recorded value in Pascal but I wanted to represent the feature in m for immediate evaluation . I resubmit a new chart. Thank you

Sorry, I did not reply sooner.
Your pressure ripples actually the same (10 Pa) as shown by TheOtherCliff in https://forum.librepilot.org/index.php?topic=311.0 for good barometer, so you should not have any problems. Long term variations are normal for atmospheric pressure.

I have a question about file csv in output from scopes.
Why for example, pressure in scope have a format 98.560 but in csv is 98560?

Scope display wrong unit as KPa but in all places the pressure unit is Pa so something like 98560.
