Output Channel Configuration
« on: January 04, 2016, 07:53:44 pm »
Hello everyone,

I received a small DYS x160 from a friend who asked me to help him to do the setup.
It comes with a CC3D (the only non-welded component !!) with a Cleanflight firmeware.

I don't know anything about CF, so I flashed + upgrade the CC3D with LP
Everything works except that .....
numbering engine:
CF: 4,2,1,3
LP: 1,2,3,4
As everything is welded it is impossible to make a change with wires or connectors.

Do you think it would be possible under LP to change the location of the engines?
For example in the output menu:

 #  -  Bank    Assignement
 1        1        VTOLMotor NW
 2        1        VTOLMotor NE
 3        1        VTOLMotor SE
 4        1        VTOLMotor SW

 modified by

  #  -  Bank    Assignement
 4       1        VTOLMotor NW
 2       1        VTOLMotor NE
 1       1        VTOLMotor SE
 3       1        VTOLMotor SW

 Thanks !

 Hello f5soh,

 Thanks for your reply.

With a 'normal' mutirotor it's easy to change some wires or connectors, but
the DYS x160 was designed wireless and to used with CF.

In fact I would like to make this (photo).
Do you think it's possible ?

FYI, I received an AR7700.

The PPM works perfectly and I will try this week on a DIY quadcopter the SRXL !!
Thank you for this great work and have a nice day. :)

Hi f5soh

After a complete reset, the installation of a new receiver, re configuration, the X160 has flying. ;D
The channel change works but not the 'bitmap' from the diagram, so I thought it would not work: big mistake.

This is not my favorit quad, but with the one it's very nice to fly around the house.

  once again thank you  !!!!
