LP next GPS flight
« on: July 25, 2016, 12:07:27 pm »
Hi all, I'm Claudio from Italy and I have a Revolution clone with the next firmware. I'm trying to fly in GPS assist mode with my quad and an external mag and a Ublox GPS M6N.
I have check everything like video tutorial, mag and goes are configure ok, mag bar are to 0 with the internal mag, in attitude mode the quad fly very well, stable and in attitude hold too.
But when I try to switch in a GPS assist flight mode, the quad flip upside down and crush...

Same information:
- Mag is green
- GPS is green
- Gps fix with 9 sats
- I tried with basic + mag + gps outdoor and INS fusion algorithm (nothing change)
- Position hold is ok and altitude hold too

but when i try a gps assist mode... the quod flip and crush...someone can help me for this?
thanks a lot for any suggest

Claudio

Hi,

That strange, GPSAssist should be equal to PosHold if you don't move sticks.

Please post your config file: File > Export UAV Settings...

Except the next GCS that pretty old i didn't see something wrong.
No Gps Assist configured but maybe you removed in current settings.

Add GPS Assist to a simple Attitude stab, without CruiseControl or altHold.

No, just try GPS Assist with a simple Attitude stab, without CruiseControl or altHold.

I tested in this configuration...
Switch 1 in attitude and cruisecontrol
switch 2 in attitude and cruisecontrol + GPS assist

after take off in switch 1...then...switch 2 and quad flip upside-down.

I don't know what can I do...

Note. with the LP 15 and the onboard mag far away (by a FC base 3d printer) from battery, bec, etc...
the GPS assist work well and I had some problem only in velocity roam...so I choose to test LP next and external mag...
