Configuring OP GPSv9
« on: June 14, 2016, 04:02:09 pm »
Hi all, as most of you might know I now sell OP GPSv10 with xfce.

Right now I can't reach him, his probably having dinner or something with his family. In the mean time I am trying to work out how our products work. So for the first time I tried to install the OP GPSv9 (not v10 because too many people want the v10 so there is none left for me until we produce the next batch in 2 weeks time) and it works fine detecting obviously less satellites vs the v10 (M8n model vs M7n). Now the "MAG" light in flight data screen is BLACK. Also I installed the GPS in main port and then changed it to flexiport after the installation. Thought I mention that in case it matters.

I can't ask XFCE because he is away. So it's kinda embarassing me asking you guys since I sell this shit:

How do I turn on the Aux MAG that is in the OP GPSv9 ?

ok disregard he came back and talked me through it.

I just have one question left: during the mag calibration do I just reposition the GPS? Or the Revolution board also (if this is a fused calibration). I am using GPS(INS13) mode.
