I heard you had a crash?[emoji573][emoji929]

So after copious days with my transmitter issue, my librepilot pilot problem in Windows 10, learning to install Linux. Learning LibrePilot.

My build was completed. Test flight 1. And the yaw was out by 180deg. My quad was a great lawn mower.

Sitting here after Test flights 2,3,4. And Great news! It works. But bad news I crashed. Lots of adjustment to do.

Main issue is I set calibration as not to recalibrate on arming meaning that once in the field it got a knock. I had no way I know of resetting the gyro.

I should then, have gone home.

But No.

I had two setups mapped to F-mode one was far to gentle to compensate against the breeze. And the other, well great fun but let's just wait until I'm a bit more experienced for this setup!

Anyway back to do some setting up. And repairs and Calibration.

If you're not crashing, you're not trying hard enough and if you're not learning, you're probably doing it wrong :D

Appreciated , very true.
I was pleased to be airborne and also noteworthy was the force at which it can hit the ground!

So I will try not to be crashing all the time for safety and financial reasons.

Great flight yesterday (two flights) No problems.

The only issue is the stilts on the frame bend and I'm 3D printing some motor guards with built in feet.

Haven't tuned PIDS yet.

Hi , good to hear you're flying / crashing / splashing.
Have had occasional success with resuscitation after water events.
This vid amuses me :

Oil the motor bearings, they also don't like watter.

Also, this might be of interest: ;)

update : In the end one of the esc's was not working right. I ordered a cheaper brand and replaced them but have had one burn out right away. Returned them.   so at the moment I am looking for some simon Ks 12A esc that dont cost a fortune.
