Which hardware to supplement OP Revo and DJI F450 frame?
« on: May 16, 2016, 09:14:49 pm »
Hello all

I'm looking to build additional functionality into my quad. I would like to add a GPS and to add a GoPro3 to make film, take pictures and use for FPV. For a long time i waited for the OP GPS but i was never made available on the OP website. I have trawled different websites for the equipment but so much are available and it's (at least for me) very difficult to see if it works with my quad.

So what are your suggestions for:

GPS unit
Camera gimbal
and equipment for FPV

I'm situated in Europe (Denmark)

Best regards

Hi i cant realy help you with GPS but i can show you cheap solution for Video on you quad

All of this you can find on banggood

You gonna need:
Monitor: http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-Racer-250-FPV-Drone-7-Inch-5_8G-32CH-Diversity-Wireless-Monitor-p-998312.html (You can use googles but for slow flying around and filming you dont need them and they cost a lot)

5.8ghz video transmiter: http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-TS832-FPV-5_8G-32CH-600mW-Wireless-AV-Transmitter-p-975425.html

2 antenas: http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-TS832-FPV-5_8G-32CH-600mW-Wireless-AV-Transmitter-p-975425.html

Gimbal: http://www.banggood.com/FPV-2-Axis-Brushless-Gimbal-With-Controller-For-DJI-Phantom-GoPro-3-p-908068.html (This gimbal is realy cheap you can buy a better one and you need to have 2 spare channels on your radio to control it)

Usb to AV cable: http://www.banggood.com/USB-To-AV-Out-Cable-For-SJ4000-Action-Camera-For-FPV-p-938777.html (you need to get av signal from you camera this cable also can charge you go pro while flying)
