Storm Racing drone
« on: May 15, 2016, 01:46:18 am »
I've just received the Storm V2 racing drone.  Firmware upgraded perfectly but I can't get the transmitter wizard to pick up any movement of the sticks.

I know it's bound as the buzzer works but more than that, nothing.

Help

Without more info like what receiver and how it's wired to the cc3d it's hard to be sure what to recommend.

The helipal website says R9D receiver but that can run either PWM or s.bus.  If there's only around 3 wires hooked up from the cc3d to the receiver it's probably s.bus, if there are more like 6+ it's probably PWM.

If you went through the wizard it asked PWM, PPM, etc...   It defaults to PWM.  You might try s.bus and see if it's configured that way.

One of the websites says the R9D led color indicates mode, red = PWM, blue = s.bus.

Hi

Thanks for the reply, I see there are only 3 cables between the cc3d and the receiver, the website says s.bus compatible but when I setup the firmware on the drop, I followed a video from helipal which says PWM.

I am going to try s.bus
