tank issues

hello everyone!

I am new here and i have some questions , i have a small robot that i build that act like a tank (one motor each side). I am using mini cc3d and try to wire the receiver with ppm. I don't want to use power distribution so how i need to connect the batteries ? 5v to the controller and 2 batteries directly to the ESC?

Most ESC have BEC built in so you power the ESC from the main battery and it makes 5V to run the receiver and CC3D.

So usually you just connect main battery to ESC and ESC servo cable to CC3D.  Then the receiver gets power from the CC3D.  You are actually getting 5V power from both ESCs in your case.  That is OK.
