CC3D won't recognize receiver

I set up a new CC3D with the LP setup wizard with no problems, but when I got to the transmitter setup wizard I could not get it to recognize my stick movements.  I know the D4Rii receiver works fine and is set up for PPM using wires, 1, 2 and 8, running Oneshot.  I did a rescue and tried to clear all settings and put fresh firmware on the FC and still could not get it to work.  Everything is green on the alarm screen except for input is red.  Any help would be great.

Is the receiver powered using the +5v from Esc or step down ?
PPM connector connected to the right port on receiver? (mistake output 1 / 2 ?)

Post your config file and i check if i can reproduce the issue.
File > Export UAV settings

Well I swapped out the fc for another one I had and it worked fine.  I think I got a bad board or something.  Thanks for the help though.
