Hi building my first real quad pretty soon with everything from banggood ,I have a turnigy 9x with the hobbyking rx,the board I got is the copter control for 18$ , whats making me feel confused is ive read abit about the cable that connects to the rx and one vid I seen on youtube a guy said that the colour coding was wrong for the servo wire that gives power to the rx can someone please set me straight on this one cheers

The original cc3d from the original supplier had a standard color code for the wires.  The current crop of Chinese clones ship cables with random and differing color coding.  It doesn't really matter, you just look at the connector and see what color is connected to what pin.
