Have you tried the on board mag?  Maybe you are running a mini.

I have used on board mag successfully on a low power 500mm quad.

The internal mag act kind of weired, when I calibrate it it look okay, some orange alarm. but if try to arm it, it will not. When connect to computer mag alarm is red. then if I lift it up to around the same height where i calibrate it, the mag alarm gets green. Thats why I thought maybe the external mag would be better, yes it's in a 250 quad.

Any ideas when the next release would be avilliable ?, can't wait to try it :-)

Next release is currently scheduled for January, but we are having some build toolchain issues...

Mag often does not work well when it's sitting on the ground.  Not much difference in height from onboard to external mag so this is often a problem with external as well.

If you can get onboard to be green, and green - orange (never red) at hover power (when off the ground) then it sounds good enough for a test.
